Every decision made by a transliterator can impact the life of a Deaf individual. How do the choices we make affect the Deaf consumers social, academic, and personal life? Ethical Decision Making I examines the various decisions made by transliterators and their impact of the lives of Deaf individuals. We investigate the possible conflict between professional and personal ethics and techniques for its resolution. This class incorporates structured group activities, discussion, analysis of real-life ethical challenges experienced by participants.
